Every year, Vita Sandars Camping is looking for dedicated and motivated employees—are you the one we're looking for?
Vita Sandars Campground
During the summer, there are several positions available: staff for the Ice Cream & Rental Kiosk, the Store, the Restaurant, the Front Desk, and a Janitor. We accept applications from applicants aged 16 and older, but we prefer that you be at least 18 years old. Reception & Store
- At least 17 years old
- Seasonal employee from June through August (training on weekends in May)
- "Service-oriented " and " resilient " are the qualities to strive for
- You'll be working to welcome guests and make their camping experience as enjoyable as possible
- You'll take reservations, answer the phone, and serve as a hub for the campground staff
- Proficiency in Word and experience working at a cash register are a plus
- The position involves working the register at the store, picking items, and maintaining the store
The Janitorial Office
- At least 17 years old
- Seasonal Employee, June–August
- You'll be responsible for maintaining the campground, cleaning, mowing the lawn, and other outdoor tasks.
The Restaurant
- At least 17 years old
- Seasonal Employee, June–August
- Experience in the restaurant industry is a plus
- Good teamwork skills and the ability to handle stress are important qualities
- You'll be preparing and serving food, pizza, and snacks
- Bar work and serving beverages
- Cleaning and sanitation in the kitchen and restaurant area
Daytime Staff/Bar Staff
- At least 16 years old
- Seasonal Employee, June–August
- Good teamwork skills and the ability to handle stress are important qualities
- Bar work and serving beverages
- You'll be responsible for handling the dishes and making sure the restaurant area is clean and tidy
- You'll work at the bar, keeping it clean and tidy, and serving customers
The Ice Cream & Rental Kiosk
- At least 16 years old
- Seasonal Employee, June–August
- You'll be serving ice cream and coffee and pastries
- Rental of pedal cars, boats, canoes, and adventure golf, as well as sales of pool wristbands
